Lazy Superheroes began in March 2022 as 100 hand-drawn NFTs on Hedera. It is still that, and it has also become a set of open-source tools that other Hedera projects now use. This page is the short version of both, and where to go next depending on why you are here.
What to expect from us β
We would rather you knew our temperament up front than worked it out later.
The art comes first. Everything else is built around it. There are eight collections and roughly over 9,500 individual artworks, and you can browse every one of them in the gallery without connecting a wallet or owning anything.
We publish IDs, not adjectives. Every token and every smart contract behind a shipped feature is listed on Contracts & Tokens with its on-chain ID, and you can check any of it against the Hedera mirror node yourself. If a number appears on this site, it came from the chain.
Open source by default. Every contract behind a live Lazy Superheroes product has public source at github.com/lazysuperheroes, including the oldest one, which we published as-is rather than tidying it up first. Where something is deliberately closed β the Discord bot, the Hash Horses Racer β we say so on the page rather than leaving you to wonder.
We say "testnet" when we mean testnet. Work in progress is labelled as such. Our security reviews are internal with adversarial passes, and we call them that rather than "audited". See Security & Governance, which also discloses where our key management is weaker than we would like.
No price talk. You will not find roadmap-as-promise, floor-price charts or income projections here. The NFTs are digital art. There are utilities and rewards, they are real, and they are not guaranteed β that distinction matters to us.
It moves at the pace of a small team. Lazy Superheroes has shipped continuously since 2022, but it is a handful of people. Things arrive when they are ready.
Where to start β
If you are just curious β read the Story Arc for the fiction, then open the gallery and scroll. Between them you will know within five minutes whether this is for you.
If you are thinking about buying β start with The Collection to understand what the generations are, then Contracts & Tokens to confirm the official token IDs, then the secondary market for where to buy. Read the two warnings below first.
If you already hold something β the Lazy dApp is where your NFTs do things: staking for $LAZY, missions, voting, and the rest. The $LAZY token page explains the economy it feeds into.
If you are a developer β Contracts & Tokens is the registry, NPM Packages is the published toolkit, and most of it works for any Hedera collection rather than only ours. The Lazy Super Minter, the multi-sig tool and the HTS Discord bot are all self-serve.
How to get involved β
Come and talk to us. The Discord is where the project actually happens β holders, artists and the team in the same place. You do not need to own anything to join.
Beyond that, in rough order of commitment: follow on X Β· read the blog Β· browse the collections on SentX Β· buy a piece you like Β· stake it Β· vote with it Β· build on the open-source tooling Β· bring us a collaboration.
Holders also get an Alphas and Coding Corner channel, which is where the Hedera-development conversation tends to end up.
Check the token ID before you buy
Imposter tokens with convincing names exist on every chain. Only the IDs on Contracts & Tokens are ours. Confirm the ID matches before you send anything, and note that some collections were originally minted as one token per artwork β a legacy token is not the same asset as the consolidated collection, even when the art matches.
